About the Project
EcoAg played a central role in founding and convening 1000 Landscapes for 1 Billion People, a global initiative designed to connect and strengthen landscape partnerships around the world.
The initiative brought together more than 40 organizations across six continents, creating a platform where practitioners, civil society leaders, researchers, businesses, and development partners could align efforts and learn from one another.
Through 1000L, EcoAg helped strengthen governance, support collaboration across partners, and advance shared work on landscape finance, regenerative food systems, and leadership development.

Impact
1000L helped demonstrate that landscape partnerships are not only project structures, but the foundation of a broader global movement for people, nature, and climate action.

Today, 1000L continues as a global platform for collaboration, showing the value of partnerships that extend beyond individual organizations and projects.
