Grounding the African Landscapes Action Plan
To ground the African Landscapes Action Plan in the best evidence available, teams from the LPFN drew on partners’ studies and experience in landscape research and lessons from local and national initiatives in Africa to generate six draft synthesis briefs. These were critically reviewed in special sessions at the Landscapes for People, Food and Nature in Africa conference, at which the Action Plan was crafted.
