Delaina is a Communications Intern for EcoAgriculture Partners. She contributes to EcoAgriculture’s social media presence and supports the Communications Team. She plays an integral role in developing the EcoAgriculture and 1000 Landscapes for 1 Billion People brands and telling their stories.
Delaina received dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in environmental studies and art history with a geography minor from Villanova University. She spent much of her time spearheading campaigns and initiatives designed to foster sustainability on Villanova’s campus during her undergraduate career. Her research throughout college focused on the intersection of people and the natural world, specifically concentrating on environmental justice. She imagines a world where every person has access to a safe and healthy environment, which inspired her Senior Project, “Backyard Environmental Injustice: Assessing Health and Environmental Risks in Southwest Inland Empire, California.”
Delaina worked as a Geographic Information Systems Intern for Catholic Relief Services, where she developed maps and data visualizations for partner programs. Additionally, she has experience designing logos and creating graphics for her research projects and interests. Her favorite design thus far explored the impact COVID-19 has had on personal sustainability. As a Communications Intern, Delaina hopes to develop her design and writing skills while using her unique blend of creative and scientific backgrounds.Contact Delaina
