David Boyer brings twenty-five years’ experience in more than 40 countries working at the nexus of environment, economics and social equity in the fields of natural resource management and sustainable development. He brings strong operational, financial and field management experience with extensive program innovation integrating environmental needs into development and private sector organizations.
David’s experience in climate change adaptation and mitigation include conservation agriculture, carbon credits and carbon markets, water capture and storage, and drip irrigation with crop selection and rotation techniques. David served as Senior Director for the Prince Sadraddin Aga Khan Fund for the Environment until 2016. Prior to joining the Aga Khan Foundation, he worked for the International Institute for Sustainable Development and with Oxfam America to define their new strategic theme in community-based natural resource management. For 25 years, David’s consulting business E3Collaborative – “environment, economics and equity” has conducted program development, technical support, and evaluations for the Dutch Government, USAID, USEPA, Save the Children UK, Virgin Unite, the Institute for Sustainable Communities, Common Ground, among many others.
