The position:
EcoAgriculture Partners seeks a motivated and bright writer, multimedia storyteller and graphic design enthusiast to join our team as a Communications Associate.
Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager, the Communications Associate will support communications activities for EcoAgriculture Partners and 1000L, as needed. The role will focus on telling the EcoAg story through the written word, multimedia and infographics, among other communications products. We’re looking for an entrepreneurial self-starter who would be excited to help shape and implement a comprehensive communications and social media strategy to guide EcoAg into the future.
The Communications Associate will regularly interact with program staff and gain an understanding of international rural development and finance, integrated landscape management and international policies related to agriculture, ecosystem restoration and biodiversity. The Associate will also meet weekly with the Communications Manager for feedback, to monitor the status of projects and to develop communications projects of their own design.
Location:
EcoAgriculture Partners is based in the Washington DC area but is a remote-work organization with staff based in different locations internationally. This is a remote position that requires availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
Tasks and duties include:
The annual salary range for this position is $35,000 to $45,000, depending on experience. Benefits include 29 days of annual and holiday leave, sick leave, health insurance and retirement contribution.
