As the Partnership Coordinator for the Landscapes for People, Food and Nature Initiative, Melissa facilitates communication and coordination of activities among the more than 70 partner organizations around the world who are working together to promote and strengthen integrated landscape management approaches to sustainable development. Melissa also contributes to EcoAgriculture Partners’ programmatic work on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the African Landscape Action Plan, and Population, Health and Environment.
Prior to joining EcoAgriculture Partners, Melissa was a Policy Analyst at Population Reference Bureau where she managed the portfolio of population, health, and environment (PHE) activities in Africa. From 1999-2001, Melissa served as a USAID Global Health Fellow with World Wildlife Fund in Kathmandu, Nepal where she led WWF’s efforts to mainstream gender and health into its conservation programs. Melissa received her BA in Economics at Williams College and her Master of Environmental Management degree from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment.Contact Melissa
