Barbara Rose is the Executive Director of Aid to Africa, a unique nonprofit federation of select charities devoted to addressing the needs of Sub Saharan Africa.
Through her work with many nonprofits, Rose has demonstrated a skill in putting issues around food production, health, and development at the forefront of the international arena. One of her many achievements is her foundational work with Future Harvest, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building awareness of the importance of science for food production, the environment, and the world’s poor. As the founding Executive Director, she interwove voices of world leaders and scholarly institutions into targeted messaging online, effectively planting the seed for agriculture’s role in development and environmental stewardship.
