Administrative Associate, EcoAgriculture

EcoAgriculture Partners is a non-profit organization, founded in 2002 and incorporated in 2005, that works internationally to support and promote the adoption of integrated agricultural landscape management approaches (“ecoagriculture”) that increase synergies between food production, ecosystem conservation, and rural livelihoods. We build capacity and provide technical assistance for landscape initiatives involving agriculture and ecosystem management; conduct research to document impacts of integrated landscape management and the business and financial innovations to support them; and support policy-makers to develop and implement effective approaches for sustainable, multi-functional rural landscapes. In addition, EcoAgriculture Partners convenes the international Landscapes for People, Food and Nature (LPFN) Initiative, which aims to support and scale up the adoption of integrated agricultural landscape approaches worldwide to simultaneously meet goals for sustainable agriculture, ecosystem health and human well-being.


  • Provide  general office services such as ordering supplies, interacting with vendors, filing records and updating information; answering phone calls and responding to inquiries;
  • Schedule, provide logistics support and prepare materials for internal and external meetings;
  • Coordinate maintenance of office equipment including desktop and laptop computers,  office telephones, network hardware and printers with Information Technology  Consultants
  • Input data into Quickbooks;
  • Process invoices in QuickBooks;
  • Support, monitor and backstop staff utilization of the organization’s project management software;
  • Compile outreach packets for conferences and meetings;
  • Assist with human resources tasks;
  • Provide other administrative duties, office tasks and miscellaneous support tasks as requested.


  • A 4-year college degree;
  • At least a year of relevant experience;
  • Experience using Microsoft Office;
  • Excellent English writing and editing skills;
  • Experience with data entry and analysis;
  • Highly organized, with attention to detail;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Comfortable handling office equipment;
  • Works well with regular supervision, proactive, flexible and creative;
  • Strong interest in the mission of the organization.


  • Familiarity with QuickBooks and/or Project Management software;
  • Familiarity with office processes, policies and procedures;
  • Experience in cross-cultural communications.


  • $30,000- $35,000, depending upon experience;
  • Health insurance and retirement benefits, life, short-term and long-term disability insurance and 29 days of holiday and vacation days per year;
  • The position may be 75-80% or full-time.
